PRESIDENT OBAMA!!!

i've never been so emotional over a presidential election in my life! when it was announced that obama would be not only the 44th president of the united states, but the first african american president, i was brought to tears! listening to his acceptance speech was incredibly inspiring, and for the first time (in a looong time), i am not only proud to be an american, but i am proud of my country. obviously he is going to have high expectations to live up to, but i think with the participation of so many americans adding their voice to the collective, it really gives a new meaning to the words hope and change!!

like many other americans today, i really feel like things are going to get better. it won't be overnight, but it's obvious that ANYTHING and EVERYTHING is POSSIBLE!!
